




APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Inpatient Adult Psychology Application Procedure
Center for Behavioral Medicine offers two (2) full-time Psychology Postdoctoral
Fellowship positions in treating the seriously and persistently mentally ill adult.
The annual stipend is $34,646. Benefits include fifteen (15) days paid annual
leave, fifteen (15) days sick leave, twelve (12) paid holidays, and medical and
life insurance plans. The twelve (12) month Program begins September 1. Residents are expected to attend an August orientation session.
Applicants should have doctorates in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from
APA-accredited programs. Applications are accepted until positions are filled,
and should include: statement of training interests and goals; curriculum vita;
two sample psychological reports; three letters of reference from individuals
familiar with your clinical experiences; a letter from the director of your training
program verifying completion of doctoral degree; and doctoral program transcripts.

Preference
is given to applicants who are judged to be prepared for supervised independent
functioning within a multi-disciplinary team and to understand and cope with the
challenges of working with seriously mentally ill adults.
Selected applicants
will be invited to come for an onsite interview. Scheduling of onsite interviews
will be arranged through phone contacts.
Interviewees will meet individually
with the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program Director, Psychology Department staff
supervisors, and the current Psychology Residents. The on site visit will also
consist of a general orientation and tour of the facility.
Phone interviews
can be arranged but applicants who participated in an on site visit will take
precedence in consideration.
Forensic
Psychology Application Procedure
